You can understand and convey messages in German, respond to simple and direct information, have simple face-to-face conversations, and talk about activities you like or dislike. You can learn and meet daily and simple needs using your knowledge of German; shopping, vacation planning or hotel reservation etc.
Level A1 in German will be sufficient for simple everyday interactions, example: as a tourist in a German-speaking country. However, A1 level will not be sufficient for professional and academic purposes
